About ParishRelay

Software shaped by a practical parish need.

ParishRelay was not conceived as an enormous church technology platform. It began with a simpler question: can the useful things a parish already publishes be easier for parishioners to reach?

A straightforward request

A parish priest wanted a simple app where parishioners could find events, daily readings, bulletins, news, giving, and useful parish information. The parish already had ways to publish those things. It did not need a large management suite or a migration project.

The initial application connected those existing sources and presented them in a calm, mobile-friendly experience. That work made a broader possibility clear: other parishes face the same fragmentation, even when the particular tools they use are different.

From one app to a reusable platform

ParishRelay was generalized into a multi-tenant platform with tenant-aware administration, reusable connectors, parish-specific presentation, and support for parish-owned domains. The underlying principle stayed the same: keep what already works.

Orthodox-focused, independently built

ParishRelay is being developed with the rhythms and practical needs of Orthodox parishes in mind. It is an independent software product and does not claim endorsement by an Orthodox jurisdiction, diocese, or parish.

01

Respect existing work

Good parish workflows should be connected, not discarded for the sake of a new product.

02

Stay mostly invisible

The parish's identity should be prominent. ParishRelay should quietly support it from behind the scenes.

03

Remain deliberately focused

We would rather solve a clear problem well than accumulate every possible church-office function.

The company

A product of Cheesehouse Software LLC.

Cheesehouse Software LLC builds and operates ParishRelay with the direct, personal approach of a small software company.

That means talking plainly about fit, limitations, onboarding, and what a parish truly needs. It also means keeping product decisions anchored to a useful parishioner experience and a manageable workload for parish staff.
